With rooftops driving retail, Webster is becoming a leader among the sprawling suburbs, due to its excellent infrastructure development, high bond rating, and expanding local economy with a strong sales tax per capita. Endless retail, dining, and entertainment options are available to choose from, creating a central business district that is 80% commercial. It is considered a “super-regional” trade area with more than 3.4 million people within a 15-mile radius who frequent Webster businesses.
Webster is supported by major industry sectors that include medical, aerospace, retail, higher education, specialty chemical, tourism, entertainment, and biomedical. With an emerging medical center, often referred to as the “Medical Center of the South,” Webster has added a new state of the art facilities powered by more than 2,200 physicians to provide for a medical service area population that cares for a booming 1.8 million patients annually.
